For years, the Commercial Lines department has been the quiet neighborhood in our Tower Hill city.  A few cars would accidentally pass through on their way to a more happening event, only to mention as they drive by, “Tower Hill writes Commercial Lines?”  Oh yes, there has been a flash of news here or there, like the appearance of a new class to write, or the ability to access policies online… until now.

The clock struck 2015 and we woke up the city with all the things we had been doing as those passers-by passed through.  It’s been an incredible start to the year, and now that we have reached the half-way mark (yes, it’s June people), we want to know, have you been keeping up with all of the opportunities available in Commercial Lines?  Here’s a quick wrap up.

Excess and Surplus Commercial Lines are written on a BOP (a quite impressive ISO Form with special form coverages) for a unique niche set of program classes: Homeowners Associations, Condominium Communities, Apartment Complexes, Office Buildings, Professional Office Complexes, Lessors Risk, Multi-Tenant Retail Shopping Centers, Medical Offices, Dental Offices, Main Street Businesses, Hotels, Self-Storage Facilities, and Mobile Home Parks, to name a few.  (How many of your clients did we cover there?)

The new kid on the block is the Monoline Property policy written through admitted (and A.M. Best rated) carrier Tower Hill Prime, and is specifically for Commercial Residential accounts, like apartments, townhomes and condos.  Office buildings (owner or tenant occupied) and Lessors Risk offices and retail centers will be added as available classes for the Monoline Property policy this month.  (Yes, we said PROPERTY policies for all of those classes.  Who better than Tower Hill Insurance?)

Tower Hill Prime also has a BOP available for Offices, Retail Centers, Hotels, Main Street Businesses and Self-Storage Facilities.  In September, you’ll have access to a Tower Hill Prime BOP for residential accounts, including Homeowners Associations, Apartment and Townhome Communities and Mobile Home Parks.  And the good news won’t stop there.  You’ll have to stay tuned!

It’s a beautiful day in the Commercial Lines neighborhood.  Next time you have a commercial opportunity, come take stroll with us and we’ll tell you all about the great things we’ve been building for you and your clients.
